Welcome to Jyoti Community Development Service Nepal (JCDSN)
Jyoti Community Development Service Nepal (JCDSN) is a government-registered, Social Welfare Council (SWC)-affiliated, and tax-exempt non-profit social organization established in Nepal in 2021. JCDSN is committed to empowering underprivileged and economically disadvantaged communities, particularly women, to achieve self-reliance and improved livelihoods, while working to prevent and combat human trafficking. JCDSN currently operates in five districts of Nepal, with registered branch offices in Kanchanpur, Kailali, Nawalpur, Makwanpur and Parsa, and its central office located in Chitwan. The organization identifies vulnerable and economically disadvantaged communities and implements programs focused on livelihood development, skills training, income generation, education, community awareness, and the prevention of human trafficking and other forms of exploitation. JCDSN also works to raise awareness and strengthen community resilience around critical social issues, including gender-based violence, human trafficking, exploitation, criminal activities, child marriage, and other harmful practices, particularly where poverty, limited education, and lack of awareness increase people's vulnerability. Through its community-based approach, JCDSN seeks to promote dignity, self-reliance, protection, and sustainable development, working alongside local communities and stakeholders to create lasting positive change.
