Five-Month Sewing & Cutting Training Inaugurated in Bharatpur-11

Jyoti Community Development Service Nepal has officially launched a Five-Month Sewing-Cutting (Tailoring) Training program aimed at empowering women from Jakhadimai, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11. The program seeks to equip participants with valuable skills for self-employment and sustainable income generation.

During the event, Bharatpur Metropolitan City representatives expressed their appreciation for Jyoti Community Development Service Nepal’s commitment to fostering women’s empowerment through skill-building and income-generating initiatives. They acknowledged that such programs are especially valuable for women in remote communities, where economic opportunities can be limited.
The training will not only focus on developing tailoring skills but will also include a post-training support initiative. Upon completion, the organization will select three outstanding graduates and assist them in starting a joint tailoring business, providing both mentorship and practical resources to ensure their success.
Speaking at the event, representatives of Jyoti Community Development Service Nepal emphasized that the program aligns with their mission to uplift marginalized and underprivileged communities, enabling women to achieve financial independence and contribute to their households and community development.
This five-month journey is expected to be a transformative step for the participants, opening doors to sustainable livelihoods and fostering a culture of self-reliance in Bharatpur-11.
