Four-Day Mother Education Training for Trainers (ToT) Successfully Conducted

Feb 15, 2026 JCDS Nepal Official

Jyoti Community Development Service Nepal successfully organized a four-day Mother Education Training for Trainers (ToT) from February 8 to February 11, 2026.

This Training for Trainers (ToT) was designed with a long-term, holistic approach. The participants were selected representatives from their respective groups. Upon completing the training, they are expected to return to their communities and gradually train their own groups based on what they have learned. Rather than teaching the entire content within a short period, they will conduct the training in a slow and phased manner to ensure deeper understanding, practical application, and lasting impact.

The training focused on the following key objectives:

  • To promote literacy among illiterate women

  • To encourage the formation of organized community groups

  • To raise awareness about health and hygiene

  • To inspire women to become responsible and nurturing mothers (parents)

  • To develop a strong sense of social responsibility

  • To motivate women toward economic improvement and self-reliance

Through interactive sessions, discussions, and practical learning activities, the participants were equipped not only with knowledge but also with leadership skills and confidence. This approach ensures that the impact of the training multiplies, as each trained representative becomes a facilitator and mentor within her own group.

Jyoti Community Development Service Nepal remains committed to empowering mothers and strengthening families through sustainable, community-based education initiatives that create long-term transformation.
