Recognizing the importance of providing necessary resources to students, JCDS Nepal recently organized a School Bag Distribution Program at Jakhadimai Basic School, located in Bharatpur-11, Chitwan. This initiative aimed to support the education of underprivileged students by providing them with essential tools including school bags for their academic journey.

Before the program's implementation, meticulous planning took place to ensure its success. The Principal of Jakhadimai Basic School, as a dedicated education advocate, played a crucial role by personally preparing the list of students. This comprehensive selection process aimed to identify those who would benefit the most from the initiative, focusing on students facing economic challenges to enhance their access to education.

The School Bag Distribution Program took place at Jakhadimai Basic School and was attended by key stakeholders, including the ward chair of Bharatpur Metropolitan Ward No. 11, Mr. Kamal Bahadur Malla; the Founder and Executive Director of JCDS Nepal, Mr. Rajan Sunar; the Program Officer of JCDS Nepal, Mr. Jeevan Gahatraj; the Community Facilitator of JCDS Nepal, Mr. Sajan Dong; the President of the School Management Committee, Mr. Lekhnath Pokhrel; the School Principal, Mr. Aashis Gopal Pariyar; teachers; and grateful guardians.

During the program, JCDS Nepal demonstrated its commitment to supporting education by distributing school bags to approximately 40 deserving students studying at Jakhadimai Basic School. These school bags were not just items but symbols of hope and empowerment, encouraging students to pursue their academic dreams with confidence.

The active participation of the local community, represented by the ward chairperson and the School Management Committee President, highlighted the collaborative effort to uplift educational standards in the region.
