The primary objective of this program was to empower women through skill development and promote self-employment opportunities. At the closing ceremony, sewing machines were distributed to all participants who successfully completed the training, encouraging them to begin income-generating activities from home. In addition, three participants received special support to start their own tailoring businesses.
The event was honored by the gracious presence of the Ward Chairperson of Bharatpur Metropolitan City Ward No.11, officials from the Health and Social Development Division of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, chairpersons of Jakhadimai, Mrigasthal, and Gyanjyoti Tole Development Committees, the Principal of Shree Jakhadimai Basic School, the President and the Program Coordinator of Jyoti Nepal, the training instructor, and various respected social workers.
